It took me a very long time for me to find a way to put all the little hats onto the letters when I was trying to write in Esperanto using my MacBook (just check out the subtitles on some of my earlier videos to see what I mean). I was using the x-system, others use the h-system to modify standard Roman letters to create Esperanto writing.

This video shows you both how to activate the correct keyboard and how to physically type the letters if you are using Apple / MacBook / iOS.
