Alex Vaughn Miller explains the customary way to leave comments and give compliments to people in Esperanto compared to how we do it in English.

The main takeaway from this lesson is that while in English we normally use adjectives as standalone compliments (for example, “Excellent!” or “Wonderful!”), in Esperanto it is far more common to use adverbs by themselves in those same situations (“Bonege!” “Mirinde!”).

Unless you have a visible noun (O-word) to pair it with, it is usually best to use the adverbial E-ending instead of putting an adjective (A-word) all by itself.
