This film was made for a weekly Kick The Ladder filmmaking challenge. The rules for this challenge that started on August 31st, 2026 were that the film had to be a music video featuring at least one song filmed in exactly two locations with a duration of one minute or less. I just missed the 11:48AM EDT deadline to submit this film on September 7th, 2026, but was able to submit this in enough time to get it on the waitlist. Each batch of Kick The Ladder films go live at 11:48PM Eastern Time at the end of that week.
I managed to film one long shot of the Delaware River standing on the very spot of the Lambertville-New Hope bridge that straddles the state line between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The film is set to an a cappella cover of “Moon River” sung by Kevin Banks. The original song was composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics by Johnny Mercer.
