China Radio International radiates from Kashi-Saibagh 2022 on 500kW to Latin(South) America in Esperanto daily from 2200-2300 UTC/GMT on a #frequency of 7315 #kilohertz #khz ( Standard International Unit is actually kHz in abbreviated form, but #youtube can’t overcome it because of #hastag 😀 ) . The recording becomes much clearer in the latter part as to identify it as Esperanto.
Now amongst my recordings I have not given a word on how can one identify various languages! One cannot be a Pundit in languages & needs a keen ear to identify closely related dialects or languages or off shoots, let me open up a bit about myself in this regard, I was a Science student & still am but then I studied the ancient language of #sanskritlanguage from standard 5 to standard 12, there lies the secret of being able to identify languages heard on #shortwaveradio , the recording you listen to is not Spanish but it is Esperanto #esperanto.
Many will make mistakes but then that’s that
In this scientific hobby probably the identification of a language (Linguistics is a subject that I learnt about, existed much much later when I did my Graduation in Physics Chemistry Maths ) is very important to use it, apply it, and is a big advantage in this scientific #hobby of #dxing #dx using one’s knowledge of Science & Sanskrit studied to track down a word that one can relate it to a language, so both go hand in hand 🙂
Most of the European Languages have Sanskrit words in their languages or Arabic
Indo European languages are having ancient words that are in Sanskrit, that was my biggest advantage to get into #dxing unwittingly at the age of 9 or 10 years, my first #qsl card was sent to me in 1972 from NHK (Nippon Hoso Kyokai or the Japan Broadcasting Corporation)
